I deleted something by mistake
On Android 11 and later, removed photos and videos stay in Cleanly's Trash (and Android's trash) for 30 days: open Tools → Trash and tap Restore. Right after a clean-up you can also tap Undo. On Android 10 and earlier there is no system trash, so deletions are permanent: Cleanly warns you first.
Some files do not show up
From Android 10, apps can only see media and files they created. To scan PDFs, installers and archives, open Largest files or Downloads and tap Add a folder to choose a folder.
Cleanly cannot clear my other apps' cache
Android does not allow it. Cleanly can open each app's settings screen so you can clear the cache yourself.
The scan is slow the first time
The first scan analyzes every photo and can take a few minutes on large libraries. Later scans are fast because results are remembered.
Compressed video looks different
Choose a lighter level to keep more quality. Cleanly always saves a new copy and only moves the original to the trash when you ask.
Free limits, Premium, restore and cancel
- Free: clean up to 500 MB a day (resets daily, or watch a short ad for 200 MB more).
- Restore: Settings → Restore purchases (same Google account).
- Cancel: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cleanly. Lifetime is a one-time purchase.
